AnimeGO! Japan Pop Culture Festival

What's On

Things To Do 2023

Have you always wondered what you’d look like in a traditional kimono/yukata? For only $10 you can experience this.

Kimono Dressing Session is an opportunity for our audience to try the summer style Japanese Kimono which is also known as Yukata. Each session is approximately 20 minutes long including time for dressing/undressing and taking photos (with own camera).

As requested by popular demand, we are bringing a drawing workshop to AnimeGO! Japan Pop Culture Festival 2023 with Rochelle Tait.

Details:

On the day we’ll be running two drawing workshop sessions. Each session will run for 45 mins. Learn how to draw manga characters using traditional mediums. Rochelle Tait will demonstrate and teach participants how to draw the character and how to bring them to life with copic markers. In addition, have a complimentary drink (beer, wine or nonalcoholic) whilst you are enjoying the experience!

This activity will be limited to participants aged 14 and older. Alcohol only available to those over 18 years of age – proof of age may be required.
